What Claude Code knows about Leonid

One prompt: "find everything about me." One evening. Dozens of sources. Not a single door guessed open — only what he himself had laid out on the open shelves of the internet. An AI agent just connected the dots into a line. And since he's "Top 0.1% in agentic AI" on LinkedIn, you can treat this as a professional stress test.

A five-year-old's dream came true

As a kid he wanted to be two people at once — and became both. This isn't our reading: he wrote it himself, on Facebook and on LinkedIn, word for word.

"When I was five, I dreamed of becoming a hacker and an entrepreneur. That's exactly how it turned out."— Leonid Huopolinen, his own bio

The path: from sales clerk to co-founder

6TH GRADE → UNI · ORIGINS
Pascal and 30 term papers for the whole class
He started coding back in 6th grade — in Pascal. In his first year he single-handedly turned in 30 Pascal term papers for the entire class. The talent didn't argue: he left university straight for development, without waiting for the diploma.
2008–2009 · THE START
Fired from "Titanika"
It all began not with a business plan, but with being fired from a job as a sales clerk. He saw studios building websites for 60–70 thousand, and decided to give it a shot himself.
"I pitched Denis: you'll do the design, I'll do the code, in three days we'll make a website and sell it for 70 thousand." — Epic Skills, 2014
2008 → NOW · THE STUDIO
Breadhead — 100+ client projects
A studio with Denis Ilyin (a separate company, "Studio Breadhead," 2008 → wound down in 2021 when everything flowed into Starter). At its peak — up to 20 people; over 12 years a lot of strong designers and developers passed through the studio. There are awards too: bronze at the Tagline Awards 2016 in the "Best Service Website" category (the Yami Yami project); plus a premium-segment e-commerce ranking from Ruward and listings in the Tagline catalog. Self-taught, grown "from enthusiasts to experts." Among the clients — Yandex and VTB; the portfolio includes the pharmacy marketplace faster.ru, the Wild Orchid store, files.design, the cleaning service we-we, the subscription brand brosclub (a Dollar Shave Club analog), and dozens of others. The experience isn't just talk: GitHub accounts active since 2009. Bonus — an in-studio bar on Fridays.
2020–2021 · FIRST PANCAKE
NEO kitchen — "a foodtech startup which failed"
Lockdown, the Italian chef Antonio Fresa, delivery "like Kitchen on the Block." ~8M ₽, Flutter apps, by November 2,000 customers and 10,000 orders. Collapse in December: the peak-hour economics didn't add up, and the investor backed out at the last minute. He called it the most valuable experience of his 12 years.

MemorAI — what he's building right now

🎙️

The "childhood hacker" still codes

A fresh pet project on his new GitHub — MemorAI: a macOS menu-bar app that records calls on its own (system audio + microphone + screen capture) and transcribes them locally via whisper.cpp. Written in Swift. The best proof that "Top 0.1% in agentic AI" is more than a line in a profile.

What the AI agent dug up

// tap ▮ to declassify
01

Two surnames — and a lovely reason

The registries remember Nikolaev. "Huopolinen" is an ancestral name, taken to share one with his wife.

02

thegamehasnoname

His Facebook handle — "the game has no name." For a man who picked his own surname, a telling detail.

03

The starting point — a firing

The road to 500+ brands begins with the line "I got fired from Titanika."

04

Not a techie by degree

SPbGIKiT, audio/video. A film school, self-taught in code — and "Top 0.1% in agentic AI."

05

The session, not a password

I logged into FB and LinkedIn with his own cookies — after his "dig all the way in." The privacy line is wherever the owner draws it.

07

Where he roams

// digital creator, 2.3K followers

Originally from St. Petersburg — from there the route turned nomadic, as befits someone building a "global B2B product" who isn't tied to a single time zone:

🇷🇺 St. Petersburg 🇰🇿 Kazakhstan 🇮🇳 Goa 🇻🇳 Vietnam 🇰🇿 Kazakhstan again · now

His education isn't in IT but in engineering: SPbGIKiT, audiovisual technology, not computer science. He taught himself to code.

The story of one surname

// the most human part of the dossier

In the registries he still drags his former surname along — Nikolaev. "Huopolinen" is neither a pseudonym nor emigration phonetics. It's his grandparents' surname, which he took before the wedding — so that he and his wife would share a name, but one that's nobody's — not his, not hers, but their new one.

His wife is Patrizia Huopolainen; now both carry a name that wasn't inherited by default but chosen. For a man with the handle "the game has no name" — a surprisingly precise gesture.

09

What was never found

Even with his own consent and access, some things stayed locked. Out in the open, these wouldn't give:

  • VK wall (anti-bot)
  • Twitter / X
  • personal phone
  • exact home address

Happy birthday, Leonid.

23 years ago, he dreamed of becoming a hacker and an entrepreneur. Today an AI agent compiled this dossier on him in an evening, wired up a domain, and shipped this page — while he was celebrating. Looks like the dream is running at full tilt.

What compiled this dossier in an evening, he turned into a system: it designs, builds and runs whole products — code, infrastructure, support, sales, marketing. The software is free; the goal is to take the market.
